While the work of network management has seen a long history of success, the demanding areas of security and risk management are in its developing steps. Thus, this presentation outlines in brief the knowledge the community holds today, and which is applicable in many separate cases. However, the integrated self-* management, a risk management, content and services management, and revenue models for the future Internet are identified as the most emerging aspects missing in today's management models and systems.
